first up is of course a beach day there are many public beaches like cata and kara if you're staying on the water your hotel will most likely have its own Beach my number one pick is the beach at cape panwa hotel shown here second is a trip to see the big buddha overlooking Phuket the white Buddha statue is breathtaking and you'll get the best 360 views of the whole island next up is old Phuket town this is my favorite place in Phuket it's a small part of Phuket city featuring rows of historic buildings studded with modern shops and cafes number four is the Phuket weekend market located just outside Phuket city near naca temple you'll find everything from clothes and bags to street food produce and my personal favorite a western themed bar called tan leather next go see my fight a local muy Thai gym near our hotel hosted this one the fighting is pretty brutal and the music is odd but it's a fun tight tradition number six is visit watch along it's a beautiful temple the temple or Chetty is filled with stunning golden buddhas and houses a splinter bone from the buddha from the terrace you'll get a 360 view of chillum number seven is a sailing trip around Phuket get out on the beautiful blue water see all the small islands go snorkeling and if you're lucky you might get to sail with dolphins watching the sunset from the sea is pretty magical too number eight is a night out in Patong now if you know me you'll know I like to be in bed by 10:00 so number eight is not really my cup of tea but the list would not be complete without a night on Phuket biggest party street Patong it's filled with all kinds of craziness but it's certainly an experience and we ended up having a fun time sitting outside at one of the more mellow bars if you're into the party scene you'll okay I saved the best for last number nine is a trip to James Bond Island now if you get the chance to go in your own montale boat that's the way to do it we set off at 5 a.m. so we could be the first people on the island the trip included a kayak tour of pom young bay and koh panyee village this was definitely the highlight of our time in Phuket and that's it thanks for reading and be sure to lunch at simply life which is healthy western ish food but we just wanted something light and easy since we're having dinner with Nicole tonight so now I am showered didn't have a chance to wash my hair has the little scarf that I'm wearing so I'm rushing to the MTR station right now because I'm hoping to make it to the peak before we go to dinner we're supposed to meet Nicole at about 8 o clock and it is currently about 6:00 so I have to do a really quick trip but we didn't get to go last time and it's so beautiful up there and it's a gorgeous looking for exit j2 right here and the wait for the tram to go up in two hours and the weight coming back is just I'll take 25 minutes but I think I might just do it decided to take a taxi I met a new friend to call so we're both trying to get up we both have dinner reservations at 8:00 so hopefully this will work out we made it to the observation deck my new friend Nicole realized that she left her phone in the taxi after the taxi left so she's on her way to go find out probably at 11:00 a.m. and I was one of maybe 10 people up here so that's probably a better way to do it I'm so glad I did not drag down to this because he would be miserable well I got a come too good shot I'm drenched with I mean it's really cool to see that view the crowds oh man not a nice experience I think the sky Terrace is open till 11:00 and the observation deck is open till midnight so it's probably better to come later in the night I mean the view will be just as spectacular all the lights are still on at that time and I would probably recommend that instead of 7:30 not the time to come event and it's quieter please leave me suggestions in the comments that's line she go down in the tram so that's another two hours Wow not the time we come no wait for a taxi so definitely take a taxi down instead of a tram back in ten how had really nice cab driver and now I'm ready to meet Nicole I can't wait to see her I'm really tries to make the most of my 19 hours here in Hong Kong drink a huge coffee and that means I probably won't sleep tonight we are heading to dinner with Nicole then we just picked up fun masks to bring back as guests before I got some cash for airport taxi now we are heading home it is 10:45 that is the very early night I think it was going to be a late crazy one but probably better still need to organize some of our baggage for our flight tomorrow I can't believe we'll be back in LA also just want to say how much we love the butterfly Hotel in Victoria there loads of butterflies throughout Hong Kong but this is the one that we've set up every stone is and the rooms are pretty small but has everything you need they're so helpful can't recommend enough and great locations so yeah it's probably a wrap on Hong Kong do you have fun I did they are if there's numbers one two three five six seven eight nine ten from where they've been a lovely trip to Hong Kong always so good seeing Nicole we'll be
